Private Jerusalem tour with a local guide

A day in the Old and New City with a licensed guide who grew up in Jerusalem, shaped around your faith, interests and pace

6-8 hours · Private

Hadara guiding visitors among ancient columns in Jerusalem

There is no other place like it in the world

Jerusalem holds 3,000 years of history, three faiths and one very modern capital, often on the same street corner. Seeing it with someone who knows its layers is the difference between visiting and understanding.

I grew up here, and I've been guiding in these alleys since 2006. We can go deep into the Old City for a whole day, or see the highlights of the Old and New City together. Either way, the day is built around what matters to you.

Two ways to spend the day

The Old City in depth

The Western Wall, the Temple Mount, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Armenian Quarter and Mount Zion, plus tunnels, alleyways and rooftops. Focused on one faith, or on all of them.

Jerusalem highlights

About three hours across the Old City's four quarters, an hour in the Machane Yehuda market, then the Israel Museum and the Dead Sea Scrolls, or Yad Vashem.

Made for your group

A family with young kids, a church group, a first-time visitor or a returning friend of Israel. I adapt the stories and the pace to the people in front of me.

The details handled

A private vehicle and driver can be arranged, and I'll plan the day around opening hours, prayer times and the weather.

Good questions

How long is a private tour of Jerusalem?

Most days run 6 to 8 hours, combining walking with a little driving. We can also plan a shorter morning or a multi-day visit.

Can the tour focus on one faith?

Yes. We can focus on Jewish, Christian or Muslim sites, or explore how the three faiths share the city.

What should we wear?

Comfortable walking shoes, and modest clothing covering shoulders and knees for the holy sites. A scarf in your bag is always useful.

Is the tour suitable for children?

Absolutely. I'm a mother of four, and I tell the city's stories so that kids stay curious and engaged.

Can you arrange transportation?

Yes. I can arrange a private vehicle and driver for your group, including hotel pickup.
