Tour Guide, Educator, Mother.

Native English speaker, born in 1984 in the United States, I have been living in Israel for nearly thirty years. Growing up in Jerusalem, one of the most intriguing and complex cities on earth, I have always been attracted to its history. Living in Tel Aviv and raising four young children, I keep my fingers on the pulse of its present.

Guiding has always been a part of my life: in youth groups, throughout my army service and shortly after as I was among the youngest licensed tour guides upon graduation. I have since gained over 15 years of experience but am still as excited as I was on my very first day every time I meet a group, family or individual.

Day Tour: Jerusalem

There is no other place like it in the world. In one day, you can experience the highlights of Old and New Jerusalem, or focus on one or the other. Jerusalem, a city with 5,000 years history, serves as the capitol of the modern state of Israel. A guided tour with a professional allows you to learn the uniqueness of this amazing city in a manner that can’t be captured otherwise.

Highlights Tour: Jerusalem

3 hours in the Old city, visiting all  quarters & major religious sights: the Western Wall, Church of the Holy Sepulcher and a view of the Dome of the Rock. An hour visiting Shuk Machne Yehuda, the old, vibrant local market plus 2 hours in either the Israel Museum, including the Dead-Sea Scrolls, or Yad-Vashem, the national center for Holocaust commemoration. Suggested time: 6-8 hours with a combination of walking and driving.

Graffiti Tour: Tel Aviv

Reading the messages on the wall, sharing insight to Israeli public opinions, beauty and jokes. The tour will lead you through the hip neighborhood of Florentine, where your specialty guide will take you to the less traveled paths. Feeling adventurous? Along the tour you will be given a spray can to leave your mark! Suggested time: 2 hours.

Dead Sea & Masada

Drive through the Judean desert with views of shepherds, Bedouin camps and beautiful landscapes of the Jordanian mountains. Ascend Mt. Masada, a UNESCO World Heritage site, chosen for its stunning desert views and 2,000 years old history. Spend 2-3 hours at the Dead-Sea beach / spa or hike to a desert oasis. Duration 8 hours.

Old City: Jerusalem

Dive deep into the history and spirituality of the city. This day can focus on a specific religion of your affiliation or a variety of faiths. Visit the Temple Mount/Haram Al-Sharif, the foundation of monotheism. Reflect at the Western Wall, explore the highlights and beyond of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and Golgatha. Visit the Armenian Patriarchy compound. In Mt. Zion, you will visit both the room of the Last Supper and King David’s tomb as well as view the newest archeological discoveries. Walk through tunnels, alleyways and rooftops exploring daily life of Jerusalem. Explore the spice market, artist galleries and more. Suggested time: 6-8 hours walking tour.

Day Tour: Tel Aviv-Jaffa

An incredible city I am blessed to call home, where east meets west and old meets new. Beginning in Jaffa, the most ancient port city in the world, walk the artist alleyways. Visit Neve Tzedek, the first Jewish neighborhood with a Parisian vibe. Stroll Rothschild Blvd with its beautiful shops, restaurants, cafes and people. Dine at one of Tel-Aviv’s award winning restaurants or take an eat-as-we-go food tour through the market. Suggested time: 5-8 hours walking tour.

Culinary Tours: Tel Aviv

Carmel or Levinsky market: Food is a great way to immerse oneself into local culture. Markets are the key for doing so. You will taste many samples of local and diverse ethnic dishes, such as burekas straight from the oven, fresh falafel, hand-made hummus, craft beers or boutique wine, all while discovering the roots and future of Israeli cuisine. Suggested time: 2 hours.
